BONUS BLOG POST

Few days back and it was Thursday around 6:50pm, a notification just popped out on Facebook and it was Dr Carmen who posted something in MMC-Kakis Facebook group.

BONUS BLOG POST
If any of you have the time or interest, I would love to know what you thought of our first tutorial class today. You can write a separate blog post about this as a bonus. No deadline ðŸ˜†
This is the very first time I tried out something radical in class, i.e. use something vulgar and dissect and analyze it so I am very curious what all of you think about it, if you liked it, hated it, etc. Constructive criticisms welcome, of course! ðŸ˜Š
Thank you!!

Well, to begin with speaking out my thoughts, it will be pretty awkward as I'm retaking this subject. I would say that having the same lecturer teaching me but different people with different mindset truly brings a lot of changes compared to my batch back then. Not sure how am I supposed to put this but it's okay, PAST

The first class was pretty awesome I must say but not when the minute I stepped into class late due to the class I have before this class dismissed me pretty late which caused me to be late for MMC class and the minute I stepped into the class oh wow everyone was looking at me like, "Oh there goes our senior who might have failed this subject". Oh well I'm sorry Dr Carmen, Dr Andrew and Ms Ezzati for being late to the class.

Anyway, let's not run out of the topic. As I have mentioned, the first class for lecture and tutorial was pretty awesome, I like it how the students are being very open minded accepting all the jokes compared to people back in my days, LOL. Just so you know, the word FUCK may probably get you in trouble with people having bad reputation or image about you (my batch). Tsk tsk, bad guy. But to me, to know about arts is to laugh at it just like the title made by Harith Iskander, "TO KNOW MALAYSIA IS TO LAUGH MALAYSIA", that's how Dr Carmen nailed it by telling us lots of jokes about the arts of middle finger and at the same time, students pay full attention and learned..and there were even students who show me middle finger as a sign of saying goodbye with a dirty look smile on their faces. Great, it surprise me because it is somewhat like a greatest wake up call to me that, education is not all about reading slides, lecturer going through slides and reading the words one by one to you, but it's how the lecturer could use some examples which relevant to the studies and students' interest to make them remember it easily. Dr Carmen, if you're curious about what we students think about you using something vulgar in class during tutorial, I guess everyone might have the same thoughts that you're the greatest and coolest lecturer among all as in the way you teach and also I like how Dr Andrew and Ms Ezzati being very open-minded, laughing along which makes the students feel comfortable too. More or less, I think having a good study environment is not about having nice tables, chairs, white board or good A/C, it's all about the vibes created by the lecturers which makes all the students laugh along and that's when students will love this subject even more. Not sure if I'm in any right position to say this, but keep it up ;) xx
